Announcement: Hachette to publish You Two, You Two!

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who purchased a copy of You Two, You Two.

As a self-published author, every single purchase of the book means the absolute world to me. It was a huge leap of faith to write and publish this book, and your support is truly appreciated.

Secondly, I have some exciting news…

You Two, You Two will be published by Hachette Australia in March 2023.

‘Wait, what?!’ I hear you asking. ‘I thought it was already published?’

Well, let me explain. I published and launched You Two, You Two in September 2021. It was a self published book - which means that it was a small print run and it was a project that was funded by me.

Then, in July this year, I met the wonderful Kate Stevens, commissioning editor at Hachette - one of the world’s biggest publishing companies - and she made me an offer to publish the book. So in March 2023, You Two, You Two will be published by Hachette Australia, and will be available in all the book stores around Australia for kids to buy.

All my childhood dreams have come true. I wanted to be an author since I was 5 years old, and to have You Two, You Two ‘officially’ published by a major publisher, is just incredible to me.

What all this means is, Hachette Australia will be publishing the second edition of You Two, You Two in March 2023, and the first edition will be rested - i.e. not available to buy - after the end of this year. So if you’ve already bought a copy, you have something very special - a first edition!
